Try It Once

My fear says
it’s impossible,
but experience says
it’s possible, but risky,
my logical mind concludes
it’s really difficult to do,
but from within comes
a childish voice,
“try it once…”

  1. Thank you, Kaushal, for the Children’s Day ditty. It is the innocent and wise voice of a child that is speaking here, and we should be listening.
It is a good recommendation as Children’s Day was set up in India by Nehru
then the PM of the country.
Thank you for the lovely picture.

    1. Thank you, Joanna! I agree with you, it was Chacha (uncle) Nehru of children. So his birthday I celebrated as Children’s Day.
A child has a clean slate, so his voice is pure and not coloured. We can learn many things from children. A child is the father of the man, in the words of William Wordsworth.

  2. Oh my, how sweet, and I agree with every aspect of your poem my friend. Happy Children’s Day. Can you imagine how much better adults can be if they had the spirit of a child every now and then? Sweet message Kaushal! ๐Ÿ˜โœจ๐ŸŒž๐Ÿ’๐Ÿฅฐ

    1. You’re right, Kym! Unfortunately we stifle the inner child, and that’s why we have so many problems as adults. Thank you for your kind wishes and sharing your beautiful reflections ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ™
