बोलता हूं मैं,
तो कुछ लोग समझ नहीं पाते
मेरी खामोशी को लेकिन
बखूबी समझ लेते हैं…

When I speak,
some don’t understand
but they understand
my silence very well…

If they understand your silence, then surely they will understand your words one day.

In a few clever words, Kaushal, have described the fascinating fact, that we are interested in people when they are silent because it awakens our imagination. Who is this person?
And that is a time when we are being listened to and understood.

What a lovely interpretation, Joanna! I love it and resonate with it. That’s why I say that my post is not complete without your comment. Silence has so much to say, full of answers and possibilities. Lao Tzu had said that silence is a source of great strength. Thank you so much, Joanna! Deeply appreciated!

I think this is definitely true for me when it comes to my children. They’re already well-versed in all of my opinions. Now, when I stay quiet, I feel my previous comments echo somewhere in the recesses of their mind and have much greater impact. Perhaps not, but I like to think so. 🙂

Silence is a powerful tool. It often gives that person in a small group the most attention. Thinking before speaking is always a great thing. Lovely post KK. Blessings to you. ❤️🤗🙏

I agree, it’s said, think twice before you speak. People tend to listen to attentively to a person who speaks too less. Thank you, Joni for your thoughtful response! Stay blessed ❤️💐🙏

“Speech is silver. Silence is golden.” This is a saying I learned in childhood. The best time to speak is when you have something to say! A very clever poem, KK.

Whatever we had learnt in childhood, I think, is relevant even now. Thank you, Cheryl for resonating with me!

It is not necessary that one has to understand by speech only or by words, first one has to understand us then the rest shall forth.
Yes Silence speaks lot while Words do little, hahaha it all depends on who you are speaking to.
Treate People to Treate You, that is the Mantra.
Good Post
