Nature wears its colours,
my life has also its own colours,
happiness and sadness,
hope and despair,
smile, anger and indifference,
there may also
be some invisible ones too,
all mix together
to give an iridescent look
that may appear scattered
at times
but it has also those colours
that I wish to have,
and as a painter,
it’s upto me to grade
and work on those colours
that will bring out
the ‘real me’…

Your unique and perceptive writing, Kaushal, transcends many forms of arts; poetry, storytelling, and even painting, either with words or the pictures of your choice, They are always skillfully illustrating your thoughts. Today’s post reminds me of the words of William Faulkner, because I think that your words will be read, perhaps, in a book form, many years from now, and when they are read, they will come to life and make an impact, as they always, do now,
“The aim of every artist is to arrest motion which is life, and hold it fixed so that a hundred years
later, when a stranger looks at it, it moves again…”

I really feel honoured and humbled, Joanna! It’s your kindness and affection for me, I know, but it means more than I can say in words. Beauty lies in the eyes of beholder, as I write simple English in a simple way, and whatever comes to my mind.
Thank you, Joanna for your generosity and brightening this special day of Holi festival.
