तितली और फूल की आपबीती / Butterfly and Flower-A Dialogue

तितली एक फूल पर बैठ
बड़े प्यार से बोली,
तुम कितनी अच्छी हो,
इतनी सुन्दरता,
इतनी खुशबू,
इतना रस,
फिर भी तुम कितनी सहज हो,
न कोई घमंड, न गुस्सा…

फूल को अच्छी लगी
ये मीठी बातें सुनकर,
कहने लगी तितली से,
तुम भी तो कितनी अच्छी हो,
शांत और मृदुल,
रंग बिरंगी खूबसूरती,
पर सरलता से लबरेज,
जब मुझ पर आहिस्ते से बैठती हो,
तो मुझमें चार चांद लग जाते हैं,
शीतल हवा के झकझोरे की तरह,
तुम मेरे प्रिये से
मिलने का माध्यम हो…
एक भंवरा है,
कुरूप, गंवार, मोटा और स्वार्थी,
एक तो निर्दयता से
मेरा मकरंद पान करता है
और दूसरे अपनी गुनगुनाहट से
मुझे गूंगा बहरा कर देता है…

और सबसे ज्यादा दुखदायी
तो यह मानव है,
जो मुझे लगाता अवश्य है,
पर पता नहीं कब दिल ही नहीं
मुझे भी तोड़ ले जीते जी…

तितली ने भाव विह्वल हो कर
फूल को आलिंगनबद्ध कर लिया…

and spoke
very affectionately to her,
you are so nice,
so much beauty,
so much fragrance,
so much juice,
but even then
how simple you are!
neither ego, nor anger…

the flower enjoyed
listening to these sweet talks,
and swiftly responded
to the butterfly,
how nice you too are!
calm, sweet and soft,
with multichromatic beauty,
but brimming with simplicity,
when you sit gently on me,
my beauty gets enhanced,
like shimmers of cold air
you are also a means
to meet my love…
and there is the bumble bee,
ugly, uncouth, fat and selfish,
who mercilessly sips
my nectar,
whose noisy humming
makes me deaf and dumb…
and the most hurting one
is the human being,
who plant me,
help me come into being,
but I do not know
when he will break my heart
and will even pluck me alive …

overwhelmed, the butterfly
feverishly embraced
the flower …
