उसने सिक्का गरीब आदमी की ओर उछाला,

वही सिक्का जिसे उसने गर्व से था संभाला…

अब उसका नहीं रहा, उसका गर्व था खड़ा,

गरीब आदमी के पैरों के पास सड़क पर पड़ा…

He tossed his coin to the poor man’s side,

The same coin that he held with pride…

Was no longer his, now on the street,

Laying close to the poor man’s feet…
