Empty-handed

A man does come
with empty hands,
but doesn’t go
empty-handed,
as people say…

A man’s hands are full,
with emotions and wishes,
either good or bad,
of his near and dear ones,
when he leaves
for his last journey…

How he is remembered
after his departure
from the scene
are the real earnings of his life,
that he not only carries with him,
but also leaves for the posterity,
with his hands open…
