👁️👁️👁️
Sitting on the sea shore,
I was trying to look at
the other shore,
but couldn’t...
in the same way
one eye can’t see the other,
and she can’t see me...
–Kaushal Kishore

Thank you, Kaushal, for this sophisticated take on the well-known concept of being ONE, a coin on one side male and female on the other. It means that like the eyes cannot see each other, equally you cannot see her and she cannot see you, being as soulmates two parts of the same coin. A beautifully expressed love poem and the presentation is perfect too. Thank you!

What a lovely and thoughtful comment, Joanna! It’s beyond my expectations. Your example of a coin is simply amazing. It has rightly been said that the beauty lies in the eyes of beholder. I can’t thank you enough, Joanna!

Words fail me to thank you appropriately, Pat! I was not aware that today is World Poetry Day. I would have shared a poem by a renowned poet (not me). I’m just a blogger, but I respect every word of yours 🙏💐

Wow KK, this is intricately woven and powerfully dictated at the same time. The way these two analogies intertwine is just divine to read. What an amazing piece as always, dear friend 🤍🤗

But, somehow our two eyes, two hands, two ears etc. are interconnected.
Both eyes together give a broader and better view of the front object or scene.
Interesting poem, KK!

“one eye can’t see the other.” This line reminded me of how two people in a relationship may view life in much the same way. They grow accustomed to sharing similar thoughts. Both eyes see as one. I know this meaning was probably not what you intended, KK, but it is my personal response to a very thought-provoking poem. Thank you for being here. ❤
