शाहजहां ने बनवाया था
ताज महल
अपनी मुमताज के लिए,
जिसे न कभी वह देख पाई
और न ही उसमें रह पाई कभी,
मैंने एक झोपड़ी बनाई है,
जिसे मेरी मुमताज देखती भी है,
और उसमें रहती भी है…

Shah Jahan had built
the Taj Mahal
for his Mumtaz,
which she could neither see
nor live in,
I have built a hut,
which my Mumtaz sees,
and lives in as well…

  11. Oh my dear Kaushal, of course the Taj Mahal is a magnificent piece of architecture, but Shah Jahan’s Taj Mahal is a divine, intimate, heartfelt, and loving piece of architecture as well.
