स्वर्ग में बनते हैं
तो कुछ धरती पर,
पर सच्चा रिश्ता वही है
जो साथ रह जाता है, सदा
जिंदगी के बाद भी…

are made in the heaven
and some on the ground,
but true relationship is the one
that stays together, forever

    As we don’t know anything sure about the afterlife, it is only a poet’s picture that is more of a daydream than reality.

      1. I wish I could read Hindi lol…I understand but not well versed in the actual script. I do read urdu and there’s something else about reading a verse in its actual script… Lovely KK🤗

      3. I understand Hindi 🙃just can’t read it🙈and I must say your translations are superb… I always found it hard to explain in English the poetic essence that hindi/urdu have…

    1. Thank you, Aish! There are so many ups and downs every now and then, that’s the life.
      In a study it has been found that a person is not happy if he or she is rich or highly placed in society or hierarchy, but one who knows to make and maintain relationships.
