चाहे कितनी भी ऊँची टहनी पर
फूल क्यों न खिल जाए,
लेकिन अपनी सुंदरता और सुगंध
तभी तक वह कायम रख सकता है,
जब तक वह जुड़ा रहता है
अपनी जड़ और मिट्टी से…
🌻 🌻 🌻 🌻 🌻 🌻
A flower may blossom
even on the topmost branch,
but it can retain
its beauty and fragrance,
as long as it remains attached
to its root and soil…
–Kaushal Kishore

Thank you, Kaushal, for the beautiful expression of your proud love for India, as your thoughts and wise words were a tribute to your belonging ( being rooted! ) forever there.
No doubt, Kaushal, you know that the next world summit is to be held in India.

Beautiful poem with my favorite flower (Shasta Daisy) to boot!!! Superb especially on a difficult day!! Thank you,Kaushel., if I spelled that correctly and may call you that

You’re right, Susan, it’s Shasta Daisy, a sacred flower for the goddess of love and beauty. I liked Jesus Christ’s quote, so apt here. Thank you for this lovely comment!

You know in English your name sounds like Casual Kisser. 😂😂😂

It may sound like that, but I’m not casual in any matter. Actually when translated from Hindi, my name means ‘skilled teen’😊🤗😂

I like it! How do you spell it?

My name is in Hindi. So Kaushal in Hindi means skill, and Kishore means teenager.

May I call you by your given name, and you may call me Suzi or Daisy as my friends do.

Oh yes, Suzi, no issue.

This question may sound stupid but what is Hindi/Hindu? Deep down, how does it make you feel? I’m NOT trying to convert you; I would just like to know from someone who lives it.

Hindi is language, while Hindu or Hinduism is religion, rather a way of life. It’s the oldest religion in the world, and I’m a proud believer. Just for knowledge, you just scroll down internet to know about it. You will come to know about its depth and breadth. It’s an excellent religion that believes in peaceful coexistence.
