I don’t know
what you know
that I ought to know,
but I don’t like to know
what you know,
I rather like to know
what you don’t know,
just to prove
that I know more
than what you know,
though I know very well
that I don’t know more
than what you know…
–Kaushal Kishore
Very clever. I may think I know what you mean.

Ha ha a clever and funny poem. We all know something nobody else knows. It makes us all special in a way, but not superior.

Nobody knows everything, so it’s futile to have a superiority complex. Thank you for your lovely reflections!

Brilliant Kaushal. This made me think and smile…you know👍

Well said, Suzette, knowledge has no limits. As we know further, we know much about our ignorance. Thank you for enjoying the piece 😊

Excellent! Where do you get your inspiration?

Thank you, Susan! You may laugh, but truly I get ideas while walking on the road or in garden, and also while talking to people in free time.

That’s wonderful! Do you jot some things down to remember?

Yes, I do, but sometimes I miss, and then the idea is also lost.

Just to pick your brain…do you carry a little notebook with you?

That’s a good idea, but I don’t carry. My mobile phone suffices the need.

True. I just always forget where I put it. However, it’s the same with a notebook. Ha!

That is the great difficulty humans face. They don’t know what people know and assume that even a zulu child in hot KZN know what snow is. They don’t. I found my to my shock. So politically people vote according to what they know and if you have the stomach for Tim Minchin he breaks all that down with fast speaking humour that most will find offensive before they get the point. Information bias. The link. Warning. Some expletives. He is however very educated. https://youtu.be/G1juPBoxBdc

Tim Minchin is not everyone’s going cup of tea, but he’s so smart has degrees, plays piano, writes mad songs and I have to admit he’s harsh as an atheist, but he does make me laugh.
