Moving Ahead

I dream
and start thinking,
aspirations start growing
and so do some hidden ones,
my steps start moving,
but turning dreams into reality
is not that easy,
sometimes I find
either time is not favorable
or the circumstances,
the heart is broken and shattered,
and I start losing my hopes,
my feet tremble,
and on the way
morning turns into evening,
and the darkness engulfs me...

The date changes,
I’ve also changed a bit
and things around me too,
I’m  happy that
I am walking with the times,
I rise to taste a new dawn,
my heart is now ready afresh
that looks below for a while,
and my feet start
to flutter once again,
to seek my ideal path,
my cherished destination…
