रात के बिना कोई
मतलब नहीं दिन का,
बुराई के एहसास के बिना
कोई मोल नहीं अच्छाई का,
एक बच्चा दुनिया में आता है
शायद इसीलिए रोते हुए…
🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌🌌
Day has no meaning
without night,
good is of no value
without the feeling of evil,
maybe that’s why a baby
comes into the world crying…
–Kaushal Kishore
Wow this poem is so good.
Each line has a beautiful meaning ☺

And, here I thought it was because it was pushed out of a warm place through a smallish hole and forced to breathe air. Huh.
No, jk. I love the contrast of dark and light; it reminds me of She Walks in Beauty. I think this poem, too, should go into your best file!💖

Thank you, Susan for your thoughtful comment. You have rightly quoted Byron’s poem that beautifully describes how outer beauty stems from inner beauty. Thank you so much. I appreciate your words. 😊💖

Baby cries because it was expelled from the place of safety, Kaushal!
Your philosophical search for the meaning in everything is what makes you so readable.

That’s very true, Joanna, but it has to cry as soon as it enters the world.
Thank you, Joanna, for your kind compliment that certainly means a lot to me.

I saw my Grandson take his first breath and squawk loudly. But we all smiled and laughed with relief that he was out, alive , healthy and able to squawk so well. We were so happy only the little baby cried. That is the story of the start of a life. Excellent poem KK/

Thank you, Anne for sharing this wonderful experience. In this connection, I’m reminded of a very beautiful quote by our former President Dr Abdul Kalam… That’s the only day in your life…your mother smiled when you cried.
