कोशिश / Effort

मुझे नहीं पता
कि क्या लिखा है
मेरी किस्मत में,
लेकिन मेरे हाथ
पुष्टि करते हैं
कि वहां एक शब्द
जरूर लिखा होगा,

I don’t know
what has been written
in my destiny,
but my hands confirm
that one word there
must have been written,

    1. You’re absolutely right, Joanna, one has to write own destiny. Silver or gold spoons are rare. I appreciate your struggle. Thank you so much!

    1. I have so many friends who are palmists, but I have never shown my palms to them. What’s the thrill of life if I know everything in detail? So let’s explore what’s in store and what we deserve. Thank you, Cheryl for sharing your beautiful thoughts 💖🙏

  1. I am delighted to learn that I am not the only one who has to put in a tremendous effort into life and living. But I have found that my effort pays off. This has been throughout my life so I am used to having to make the EFFORT now to achieve anything, Great poem KK. It speaks volumes!

  2. Very well illustrated! Even to receive a gift takes effort from the recipient. I think people miss so many blessings in their lives because they don’t realize it takes effort on their part!
