There are
long cherished memories,
some good thoughts too
that I often preserve safely
to retrieve at the right moment,
but get misplaced somewhere
in the inner deep layers
of my cerebrum…
So I have left my thoughts,
and my words free
I go on speaking
what instantly comes
to my heart…
I’m afraid at times
what and how to say
lest someone should feel bad
but can my own people
really feel bad about what I say?
And even if someone feels bad
it’s his or her right
but he or she is my own
how can I feel bad
about my loved ones?
🥀🥀🥀🥀🥀🥀🥀🥀🥀

You have touched on something important, Kaushal because the people who can hurt you most are your loved ones, no one else can affect you in the same way. That is why we should always remember before we open our mouths or state writing or typing, that ” life is as short as half taken breath” (Rumi), and only speak with love to those who matter most.

Very well said, Joanna! What you have stated is absolutely correct. There is no point hurting anyone for no reason. Satyam bruyat priyam bruyat ma bruyat satyamapriyam, remember? Thank you!

I love this piece and the strong resolution that comes with it. And that fountain-like picture looks magnificent and terrifically amazing.

Thank you, Lamittan for your thoughtful comment. You have rightly pointed out the picture is from a fountain only.

Thanks, Narayana.
I was told in my friend’s circle that I talk like a chatterbox and those words haunted me for a long time. I always kept thinking after all I am expressing my thoughts among friends without mincing words why anyone should feel bad about. Then I met a sanyasi who said to keep heart clean its good to let out all that comes to your mind but prepared to stand alone.

Thank you for your thoughtful comment. I agree with you and that sanyasi. If somebody talks ill, it’s upto us to accept, reject or just ignore. Today I was reading a piece, the sum and substance of which is, “if it is to be, it is up to me.”
