Unexplored Love

I admire a radiant smile
whether it’s dimpled or wrinkled,
I love an altruistic heart
whether it’s in bulky or petite body,
I appreciate a witty mind
whether it’s covered
with black, grey or no hairs…

People have numerous qualities
that attract me,
but I want to be close with someone
who makes me happy
with his or mere presence,
and I always try to find out
at least one or two appealing qualities
that make me happy
and fill me with love…

Love is like fog,
the closer we go,
clearer it becomes,
there is no hatred in this world,
it’s only the unexplored love
that needs to be explored…

  1. ‘The unexplored that needs to be explored’
Right on point with this! I haven’t had the time to read much of my friends’ blogs lately, but today I am reading all of yours that I missed. Honestly, all your thoughts are such gems✨

Loved the message behind this one, to look for qualities we can fall in love with, instead of waiting for them to reveal themselves. We have to look for love.
    I’ll remember this.

    1. It’s such a delight to know that this resonates with you. We all have some pluses and minuses. It’s always better to see positive aspects. Thank you for appreciating my posts. That’s so very kind. It means a lot.

  2. Thank you, Kaushal, for this beautiful vignette of your amiable character!
But I think, judging by the delightful pictures included, that the message you have conveyed is that there is something greater than our love for the humankind:

    1. I appreciate your interpretation, Joanna! As a nature lover, you have rightly expanded it to nature. The quote you have referred to is so appropriate here. Thank you so much, Joanna for such a beautiful reflection.

    1. Well said, Karima, in the end, it’s love and laughter, if we do decide. Thank you very much for sharing your lovely reflections 😊💐💖
