The Facilitators

The letters of my alphabet
silently staring at me
start jumping at your thoughts
that come in the periphery
of my throbbing heart
generating a melodious tune
at the sight of blossoming flowers
that play ‘I spy’ gleefully
in the midst of green vegetation
and high rise trees
where feathery friends and cuckoos
add their melodious spring tunes
with their chirping and koo-kooos
to create a duet
with my heartbeats
to facilitate the letters
to do their duties to the utmost
for which they have been invented…

The letters rising to the occasion
wear the desired attire dutifully
to help me in my resolve
to speak my mind
and to express my love to you
in the way I wished to
and in the way
you wished to listen
with a broad smile on your lips…

  1. The letters, Kaushal, are an essential part of your work as without them there wouldn’t be the exclusive poetry. That you also use them in communication with your beloved is a role they cherish.
Thank you, Kaushal for the beautiful poem and the flowers that brighten the day.

    1. Thank you, Karima for such a thoughtful response. It’s always better if letters are under command, but at times, but at times, I find some letters and words popping up just to prompt me. 😊😂 💐
