Learnings from Birds

Birds are cute fluffy creatures that always attract us with their beautiful colours, feathers, wings, beaks, eggs and sometimes tails, and above all, their chirping and singing. A lot of things have also been observed and written about their communication skills and migratory strategies.

But here, I’m going to share some interesting facts about birds that we humans need to emulate. Here is a set of 15 such facts:

1.ย ย  Birds don’t eat anything at night. ๐Ÿฆœ

2.ย  Birds don’t roam at night.๐Ÿฆœ

3.ย  Birds give lots of love to their chicks, when they need most.๐Ÿฆœ

4. They teach their chicks at the right time what to eat and how to fly.๐Ÿฆœ

5.ย  Birds never eat their fill. No matter how many grains you have put, they will fly away after eating a little.๐Ÿฆœ

6.ย  Birds stop eating, when they fall sick.๐Ÿฆœ

7.ย  Birds fall asleep early in night (except nocturnal and crepuscular ones) and wake up early in the morning chirping.๐Ÿฆœ

8. They never change their diet.๐Ÿฆœ

9.ย  Birds keep doing some work without taking rest, except at night.๐Ÿฆœ

10. Birds take only what is needed from nature.๐Ÿฆœ

Let’s develop and spread wings like them to fly rather than crawling through the life.

    1. You reminded me of my mom who was very much fascinated with sparrows, and she used to know which one was missing on a particular day. Thank you, Ganga for your kind comment ๐Ÿ˜Š

  1. It is wonderful, Kaushal, that you love birds! Just to add that the reason the birds don’t fall of the tree when they are asleep, is because they have a specially designed tendon that closes their toes firmly over a branch. Isn’t the ingenuity of nature amazing?!

    Thank you.
