ग़लत या सही / Wrong or Right

मुझे नहीं पता
क्या सही है क्या गलत…

लेकिन सूर्यमुखी के फूल
की तरह जिधर प्यार मिले
उधर ही यदि मैं घूम न जाऊं,
अपनों से मैं प्यार न कर पाऊं,
उनसे आंखों में आँखें डाल कर
बात न कर पाऊं,
तो मुझे लगता है
मैं गलत रास्ते पर हूं…

लेकिन अगर मैं लोगों
को समझ और समझा पाऊं,
उनके साथ चल पाऊं,
अपने शब्दों और कृत्यों से
मुस्कान, खुशियां और सुकून
दे पाऊं उन्हें,
तो मुझे लगता है
मैं सही रास्ते पर हूं…

I don’t know
what is right or wrong…

But like a sunflower
if I don’t lean to
where love is,
if I can’t love
my own people,
if I can’t talk to them
looking straight in their eyes,
then I think
I’m on the wrong path…

But if I can understand people
and explain properly to them,
if I can walk with them,
if my words and deeds
make them smile,
happy and comfortable,
then I think
I’m on the right path…
