सपना और यथार्थ / Dream and Reality

मैं किसी को इतना चाहूंगा
मुझे कोई आभास नहीं था
मैं खोया रहूँगा यादों में हर पल
यह कभी सोचा नहीं था
मैं अपने प्रयासों में असफल होऊंगा
मुझे उम्मीद नहीं थी इसकी…

मैंने कई बार कोशिश की
अपना ध्यान भटकाने की,
उन सपनों को भूल जाने की,
उन्हें फिर कभी नहीं देखने की
रचनात्मकता पर ध्यान केंद्रित करने की
पर यह दिल है कि मानता ही नहीं
कभी यादों के आंसू तो कभी दिल का जलन…

एहसास का मौसम एक ही रहता है
झड़ी एहसासों की कभी रुकती ही नहीं
चाहत कभी थमती ही नहीं
बात, साथ और मुलाकात की…

समय के प्रवाह के साथ
मुझे पता है अब
यह मेरी आँखों का सपना है
जो सुबह होते छुप जाता है
मेरे दिल के किसी कोने में
अगली रात फिर से आने के लिए
सपनों में, मेरी आँखों में…

यह आंख मिचौली चलती रहती है
यही यथार्थ है किंतु इस जीवन का
मेरी और आपकी,
और यथार्थ यह भी है
कि किरणें बीच में आती है
कुछ सपनों को साकार कराने के लिए,
यदि सभी नहीं…

I would like someone so much
I had no inkling
I would remain lost
in the memories all the time
I had not thought of
I would fail in my endeavours
I had not expected…

Tried many times
to distract myself,
to forget those dreams
never to see them again
to concentrate on creativity
but it’s the heart that doesn’t retract
with tears of memories and heartburns…

The season of the feelings
remains the same
feelings keep raining
wishes never stop
to talk, to meet, to be with…

With the efflux of time
I know now
it’s the dream of my eyes
that hides in the morning
in some corner of my heart
to come back again the next night
in dreams, in my eyes…

The blinking game is on
but this is the reality of the life
mine and yours,
and the reality is
that sunshine comes in between
to help realise a few dreams,
if not all…
