घोंसला / The Nest

एक घोंसला बनाया था
तिनका तिनका जोड़ कर..
फिर आ गया
बारिश का एक तेज झोंका…
और सब खत्म
आखिरी तिनका भी…
अब इंतज़ार है बेसब्री से
पतझड़ का…


A nest was made
by collecting straws…
then arrived
a violent gust of rain…
and it’s all over
the last straw…
now eagerly waiting
for the autumn…

  3. Though it’s only a bird’s nest and exists only in a poem, its destruction fills me with sadness. It is a reminder of how capricious fate is. We need to live in the moment and die without regret that we have missed something!
