आंसू और प्यार / Tears and Love

आंसू निकलते हैं
गम में भी खुशी में भी
पर दोनों तुमने ही दिए हैं
गम के आंसुओं को
मैं बह जाने देता हूं
मुझे कोई गिला शिकवा नहीं..
पर खुशी के आंसुओं को
अपने प्यार की ऊष्मा से
उसे वाष्पीकृत कर छल्लों को
मैं तुम्हें वापस भेजता हूं
जो तुम्हें यूं बांध लेगा
कि तुम सिर्फ
हमारे प्यार को ही
देख और महसूस कर सको..

both in joy and despair
given by you
let the tears of despair
flow away,
I have no grouse..
but I sublimate
the tears of joy with
the warmth of my love
into vapour rings
and send them back
to encircle you
to make you see and feel
nothing, but our love..
