The Password

Even trivial things remain
sometimes in the mind,
while important things
slip the mind..

Why so?
The mind confides in me,
“I don’t differentiate,
my hard disk treats them equally..”

That’s when a voice emerges
from a corner of the heart,
“Ask me, my friend,
I’m the keeper of all passwords,
but sometimes you make
your passwords so complex,
that becomes really difficult
to be saved or retrieved..

  1. This makes me smile! I received some new computer protection recently which included ‘Password Manager’! Should I use it or stick or rely on my ‘little grey cells’? 🤣

    1. Don’t underestimate the grey cells that remain with us always.
However, my poem is based on the conflict between mind and heart. Thank you, Ashley for your comment.

  2. Remembering a password is difficult. I have written a post ” forget password” in the very beginning.

Nice try KK. Writing a poem on online culture and its issue, is interesting. The poem makes you smile when it comes out.🙂👌

  3. I think your eager audience didn’t understand that your profoundly meaningful poem isn’t about a computer password. You are using your crystal bowl again. The secrets of the mind and heart are in my tomorrow’s post. See you there.

    Thank you.

    1. You are right, Joanna. Probably, my title is misleading. But I now start believing the crystal bowl theory. Thanks. Looking forward to your tomorrow’s post.
